Dr Stretch is a graduate of the University of Glasgow and has been a very popular and respected doctor on the Gold Coast since establishing himself here over 20 years ago. Since 2000 he has concentrated his postgraduate training in the field of dermatology, initially gaining the Certificate in Dermatology from the University of Monash in 2002.
He was a member of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic Medicine from 2006 and undertook study trips to both Hong Kong and Cardiff before being awarded the internationally recognised Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University, UK in 2007. Dr Stretch was admitted as a Full Member of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia in 2011 and was recently admitted as a Fellow of both the Australasian College of Aesthetic Medicine (2014) and the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia (2015).
In the area of sun damaged skin and skin cancer medicine, Dr Stretch is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia having been awarded the Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) by the University of Queensland. He has also been awarded the International Dermoscopy Diploma (with distinction) from the University of Graz in Austria. This latter year long training course deals specifically with the hand held surface microscopic examination and interpretation of both pigmented and non-pigmented skin lesions.
Dr Stretch continues to enjoy on-campus dermatology lecturing to both Bond University and Griffith University final year medical students. He also has teaching appointments at both The University of Queensland and Cardiff University where his involvement is at a postgraduate level. He continues to regularly attend cosmetic medicine training conferences and workshops to ensure his clinical skills remain up to date. He is assisted in the centre by a team of highly experience and dedicated doctors, nurses, therapists and receptionists.
Dr Chris Wetherall
Chris graduated from the University of Queensland with his medical degree in 1994. After gaining a Masters Degree in Skin Cancer at UQ in 2010, and Fellowship of both the Australian College of Skin Cancer Medicine and the Skin Cancer College Australasia in 2012, Chris is now an Accredited and full time Skin Cancer Practitioner.
He is a lecturer with the UQ School of Medicine as well as heading the Dermoscopy teaching program for the Skin Cancer College Australasia. He regularly attends conferences, both national and international, in Skin Cancer Medicine as well as contributing to internationally published research in the field of Skin Cancer.
Chris is skilled in the field of Skin Cancer Surgery performing both basic and advanced surgical repair techniques when needed.

Rebecca is a Registered Nurse with advanced training in Anatomy, Physiology and Aesthetic Skin Rejuvenation.
She gained her Degree at Griffith University and has been involved in Post Graduate training of undergraduate students at University level.
Rebecca has a passion for all areas of Skin Health with a special interest in Skin Rejuvenation, Acne and Cosmetic Injectables. This includes muscle relaxing injections, HA fillers, Skin Boosters as well as Advanced Skin Needling and Platelet Rich Plasma Injections.

Dr Hari Bains has practised medicine in Coolangatta since 1996. A Fellow of the Australian College of General Practitioners, he graduated from Manchester University and decided, like many of his cohort, to move to sunnier climates. Dr Bains has a Masters Degree in Sports Medicine (with distinction) from the University of New South Wales in Sydney. He has a strong interest in exercise and its role in promoting wellness.
Dr Bains sits on the editorial board of the prestigious Australian peer reviewed journal ‘Medicine Today’. He also regularly teaches students and junior doctors. He is a member of the Asian Federation of Sports Medicine and regularly attends and presents at both national and international meetings. This includes scientific updates in the rapidly evolving fields of Regenerative and Anti Ageing Medicine.
